well what a week i am having , my other kit club has arrived and it was lovely, wasn't keen on the boy papers but i could use them for Gary layouts so its all good. I also bought the crate bliss special kit and it is yummy, nice and bright and girly, anyway see for your self. Oh i don't think i mentioned it but i won the blog challenge there last week, so i won a huge bag of prima lovelys , cant wait for them to arrive yay

Well i got to say Noel has out done herself yet again, my kit just arrived this morning and boy it is Bee-utiful. I wasn't sure about this kit as its chabby chic and I'm so not good at that, but when i saw pictures of it all i just had to have it and I'm so glad that i did. I just love it all and it is rammed full of stunning things , anyway for the bits I'm not sure what to do with i will just look at her amazing DT's work to get ideas. Look out for some awesome pages from this kit i swear you will love it. By the way there is only 2 left right now so if you fancy it move fast..

Here is a layout i made for a challenge over on the scraproom blog, it was to use layered flowers, so i made these using some tissue ribbons from my Noel Mignon kit, scrunched them up and just added some Maya road crochet flowers on top. For the layout i used the sketch over at sketch inspiration and its made using papers from the Noel Mignon kit apart from the die cut that i got at SBKC along with the crochet flowers.

This is a picture of Lucy and i out sitting in the sun, she was playing in the mud making a mess as usual lol, when i thought i would join her, so i grabbed her bean bag and sat on that to try read my book, nope Lucy wasn't having that , she had to join me lol. anyway we had fun so it was all good

Well its Sketchy Friday over at Practical Scrappers and i finally got this layout finished yay. You know I'm not 100% happy with it but you know sometimes when you work on a sketch and it just doesn't work for you, well this was one of they times. Well as i said i received the Noel Mignon kit this morning and was dying to use it, and i went onto Sketchy Thursdays as its new sketch day today , well the sketch just fitted a piece of the PP perfectly as it was all ready shaped so I got to work straight away and even though there's alot of white space i really love the simplicity of this page. I am also going to put this in for the favourites challenge over at the scraproom, I chose a layout with the scallop edging to lift, so this fits it perfectly

YAY what a day i have had 1st off my awesome noel Mignon kit arrived then an hour later my pre order of the Made with Love kaisercraft range arrived, and omg the papers are beautiful, i got 12 PP as i wanted 2 of each one , i got the complete range plus the wee love heart photo holder which i think i will make for lucy for valentines day. Here is a clock that i bought from my LSS to work on at a crop, but Gary had to work at the house that night so i didn't end up getting to go. Well I finally got it out yesterday and worked on it. You can't tell from the picture but all the little animals along the bottom of the page and the bird house are popping off the page, I had bought 2 sheets of the paper and hand cut them all out and used some 3D foam dots to add them on. Gary thought i could of made it more personal but the reason i didn't put pictures of her on it, was i want her to use it for years to come and didn't think she would appreciate baby pictures on it. Anyway I really like how it turned out, Think I may make another one now for the lounge

The challenge was to use embossing in some way be it dry, wet or paper so anyway i sold my heat gun last week as i had used it once and was getting rid of things before we moved house so i went with embossed papers, The stripy ones are all embossed, I only made it in to a 2 pager to use up the stripy paper. The papers are from my Scrapbook kit club December kit they are just beautiful, they are so embossed you could stand them upright lol. enjoy

As you all know I am a member of Scrapbook kit club , well they have a huuugggeeeeee sale on to make room for the new CHA releases so i bought myself 2 of the past kits they had on sale that I didn't have yet. I managed to get both of these for $25 plus i bought some brads/flowers etc. Anyway the box of goodies arrived this morning along with my extra PP add on kit from January. I cannot wait to play as it has been a week since i scrapped with moving house etc and i have a lot of challenges to catch up with yikes. Well i shall be back later with some Layouts for you all just as soon as i get a spare hour or so to myself.

Unfortunately my scrap stuff is all packed away in boxes at the new house (I'm sneaking a wee look online while packing the car) anyway once i find my way around all the boxes and get my new scraproom all organised i shall get my new stuff out to play with so look out for some lovely pages from this yummy lot. Have a look at all the goodies in the bottom picture it is awesome and soooooooo packed of Delicious goodies, I cant wait to get started on this kit and i have some very good ideas for this that i will use along side my winter woodland cart. I am also waiting on a paper add on so i have double of all the PP. The picture on top is off the kit i won for that sketchy Thursday challenge a couple of weeks back, I actually won the December kit but as i already had that Amber was good enough to swap it for a previous kit, I actually done the apple of my eye layout before i remembered to take the pictures so i have already used some of the kit. With the January kit i also took the Card stock add on so i have lots to work with and it all coordinates. Here is a layout I made using a picture of my mum my best friend and myself taken at my leaving night . Used this layout as an entry for a design team , ah well i didn't make it but that's OK I'm in one already and I'm sure there will be lots more in the future. I made the flowers myself and they were so easy and also the scallop circle. I really liked this layout too but you want to see the layouts of the girls that were chosen , a total different league lol, but in my defence i am very new to this compared to a lot of people in the blog world, im not even 1 year old lol

KIT CLUBS

Just thought I would post this on here as i had saw the discussion in another NING site. Do any of you feel that where you live you just don't have the supplies that you see others using on forums etc, I know i certainly do stuck out in NZ it seems to me it is the hardest place in the world to buy everything and I'm not just talking about scrap booking gear. ( and i promise I'm not knocking our Local Scrapbooking Stores as believe me I am very fortunate to have one in my street,and boy was she missed during the holidays,But we just dont seem to get the stuff that everyone in the Us can probably as postage wayyyyy to expensive),Another problem i have is i see a club i fancy but the postage is fortunes so therefor not worth it. Well i finally found 2 clubs that offer really cool kits and good postage costs. I have joined 2 clubs simply to top up on what i can get in NZ. The 2 i have went with are subscriptions but you can cancel at any time and also if you wish to skip a months kit cos you don't fancy it then its no problem. The 1st one i went with is http://www.scrapbookkitclub.com/store/Default.asp and i received my first kit last week omg it is jam packed i also won the same kit at a sketchy Thursday challenge the week after i signed up so she has swapped that out for a previous months kit and i will receive it with my Jan kit(arriving any day now) Also she has a huge sale on as she making room for the new release so i went on last night and bought 2 more of her previous kits for like $15 or so each so that could be a good way of seeing a kit ( Remember to say i sent you as she has a cool offer on right now and if you refer 2 people she will give you a free kit)Anyway i had only intended to join one club but when Jennifer Moore put a post on her blog showing off really cool papers i just had to have a nosy so the next club i joined is http://thescraproomblog.blogspot.com/ this is an awesome place the monthly kit is $21.95 and as i said you can skip etc what is great about here is they give you 4 different lines each month with embellies etc i also have ordered a few extra specials with my first month , i have also joined up as a secret scrap sister and i am looking forward to that as it will be so exciting to try out other products i wouldn't have the chance too normally and its a great way of meeting lovely people.( also you get a referral RAK if someone joins up so tell her i sent you here too lol)So has anyone else joined some cool kit clubs , will i be tempted to join a 3rd? Right now i would say a definite no as i did search high and low for one that had really nice papers, i also researched there past kits to make sure the present one wasn't just a one off as with a lot of the kit clubs the papers seemed nice but when you went through their past ones there was more that i wouldn't use than i would so that would be a waste. some are all beautiful vintage style which i love but i am no good at whatsoever, I'm more of a clean line kinda girl(thanks Jackie as I'm sure there is some of your style in their to lol)

Scrapbook Kit club December Kit just arrived

OMG this just fell through the door this morning and boy it made me smile. Thanks Amber for an amazing pack of goodies i love everything in it. This is also my first ever kit club so I'm very excited as I'm sure you can tell. Look how jam packed with different bits and bobs it is , one of the reasons I'm so loving this is there's alot in it that i would probably not thought of buying while out shopping so it will make me work outside my box so to speak. I also bought the card stock add on so i had matching card to go with. All of this with the CS add on was $29.50 USD and boy was it worth it (even though i had to ship to NZ its worth it. Well i need to sort through my pictures and get lots printed off to start using this lot. Roll on next week when my Jan kit arrives as it just has beautiful pics in it too(this was late as i only just joined it normally get kit 2nd week of each month)

OMG Sneak Peak Heaven

I just went on the Kaiserkraft blog there and they have up these sneak peaks of their Q3 ranges and I have got too say I think these could be my faves off all their papers yet, I seriously could not choose one of the six as a favourite they are all just beautiful. They seem to have changed the format of

their releases as previously they released the full 6 ranges straight off , where as this time they are doing 2 each per month which i actually like as it means I'm not off rushing to get them all at same time, though its going to kill me having to wait probably. This is the first Quarter that i have wanted each of the 6 different ranges , honestly i love them all.... Liz get your stock ready, I'm going to be nocking your door on release day lol

Now here is a layout I based around these absolutely amazing butterflies , aren't they just gorgeous?? i bought these from Kay too and they are just my fave shade of cobalt blue. I bought bling to put up the right side but it just didn't look right so i just left as is.

I took Lucy shopping one day and we ended up visiting Santa, how funny she had red and white on , Santa told her your wearing my favourite colours lol. Was a wee shame she didn't know what was going on . isn't she amazing

Summer Launch Night

Well I made it over to a friends Stampin up Workshop last night for a launch of the summer mini that just came out on Dec 1st. I had a really fab night and made some cool stuff oh yea and bought some cool stuff too. Though I must add that I was really good and stuck to what I had to spend in my purse and not a cent more. The good this is there is 3 months to buy everything in it that I would love. Think I may have to have that awesome circle cutter, wow so easy to use. Any way i bought 2 lovely packs of buttons , some sweet treat cups and a white pen for highlighting some of my layouts (the sweet treats are used in the friendship card in the picture and I am looking forward to using them).
